Hail to the new king: Four Arts installs parrot sculpture,

Jim Dine’s 7-foot, 1,400-pound King Parrot alighted Wednesday in The Society of the Four Arts’ sculpture garden.
The painted bronze was bequeathed to the Four Arts by longtime member and resident Dorothy “Sis” Tremaine Hildt. Her parents, Burton and Elizabeth Tremaine, were major collectors of modern art and she followed in their footsteps.
The sculpture joins 15 others in the garden — nine added since its 2007 renovation.
