Gander & White recently handled the transport of a monumental sculpture; Fernando Botero, ‘Man on Horse”, Bronze. 11.6 feet tall by 92” long by 62 “ wide and weighting at over 3,300 lbs. from a Private Collection in the USA. The projects required the use a an extending all terrain fork lift, a 17 Ton crane and needed to be crated so as to travel on its side on a flatbed trailer.
We were thrilled to be featured in a Times LUXX article in October 2024. 'From Falcons to wedding cakes - How to move luxury goods around the globe highlights a few of the whacky and wonderful projects we have been involved in beyond the art world.
In May 2024 we collaborated with The Arts Club on Dover Street to install 'New Myth' a contemporary art show focused on the work of artists descended from Native Americans
Along with partners across the industry, the team at Gander & White are trying to understand how to reduce the environmental impact of shipping, which plays such a fundamental role in the sector.
We were recently featured in Art & Museum – a journal circulated among family offices – in an article exploring our work with Batia Ofer’s celebrated philanthropic endeavour, The Art of Wishes Gala.
